What We Do
Major and minor repair on all domestic and foreign vehicles. Our warehouse stocks 400+ remanufactured assemblies for fast turnaround.
Special-build transmissions for hauling, pulling, and towing. Heavy-duty components, custom torque converters, and engineered valve body programs.
Sonnax re-engineered converters for heavy haulers. Larger friction ring, dual spring dampener, billet cover — at nearly half competitor cost.
LUK OEM stock replacement through Exedy Racing performance clutches. We match the clutch to your vehicle's actual use and needs.
Rebuild using only the highest quality bearings. We focus on longevity — not just getting you out the door.
Flush and fluid/filter renewal. Denver's altitude and temperature swings demand more frequent service — we'll tell you exactly what you need.
Our Story
Since 1982, Active Transmission and Gear has been the Denver metro area's first choice for transmission and driveline service. We built our reputation one rebuild at a time — on honesty, quality, and respect for you and your vehicle.
Unlike chain shops that push replacements, we diagnose first. Most transmissions are needlessly replaced due to poor diagnostics and unethical practices. Our ASE-certified technicians use the latest computerized diagnostic equipment to find the real problem — and fix it at a fair price.
